Breastfeeding on the Runway: A New Life sets the blueprint and Celebrates Mothers

A New Life Celebrates Motherhood” On August 29th, 2026, A New Life hosted “Breastfeeding on the Runway” in Los Angeles, an event created to celebrate, empower, and increase the visibility of breastfeeding and pumping mothers. Unlike traditional fashion shows, this event was intentionally centered on mothers breastfeeding, and or pumping while walking the runway, turning the catwalk into a space for community, education, and confidence. Based on publicly available records we’ve reviewed, “Breastfeeding on the Runway” is the earliest documented US event we’ve identified that was specifically organized around multiple mothers breastfeeding and/or pumping while walking the runway. Breastfeeding is a part of everyday life for millions of families, yet many mothers still face stigma or lack of support. This event was created to help change that narrative.
